Each of the girls enjoy spending "special time" with one of us parents. Madison's "special time" this past weekend was going to the Cotton Bowl with Dewayne (coming in Part 2). When Charlotte realized Madison was getting to do something fun with Daddy, I declared Friday evening to be "Charlotte and Mommy's special time". I told her we could go to Chuck E Cheese while Shea and Daddy were at the football game.
(Charlotte has only been to Chuck E Cheese one time -at a birthday party- so she was super pumped that she was going)
Bug talked about it all week and was grinning from ear to ear when I picked her up Friday. We headed straight to the germ infested playplace Chuck E Cheese and started right in on the rides. After a horse ride, monster truck ride, some skee ball (which turned out to be extremely dangerous for the patrons around us) and whack a mole, Bug hung out with "the real Chuck E Cheese". (It was pretty funny hearing Charlotte tell Madison that she saw the real Chuck E Cheese and danced with him).

After redeeming Charlotte's tickets for some plastic rings and a couple of lollipops (and a thorough round of GermX), we had frozen yogurt for dessert.

It was fun spending "special time" with Bug. She mentioned she missed Madison, but I know she enjoyed the one on one attention!
